Family fun in the sun

Updated: Oct 6, 2021

Discover the wonder of the Tiny’s kid-friendly beaches. These beaches have at least one porta-potty, playgrounds and parking. They also have boardwalks and/or accessible beach access - perfect for trekking strollers and wagons over the sand. You’re sure to find a family favourite.

This year, due to Covid-19, visiting one of our glorious beaches is a little different.

For the 2021 season, there is no paid parking available. All beach parking is permit only. Cars parked without a permit will receive fines of up to $180, and will be towed at the owner’s expense. Avoid the hassle by taking advantage of Tiny Township’s pilot program called the Beach Bundle.

New Beach Bundle pass keeps you safe from parking tickets and is good value too!

Tiny Township introduced the Beach Bundle pass on July 20, 2021 - a great option for some mid-week family fun in the sun. The Beach Bundle includes a single-day parking permit and $50 Tiny Dollars for use at local participating businesses ⸻ that’s an $80 value. Quantities are limited to 10 per day.

Buy your Beach Bundle: here's how

  1. Decide on your mid-week beach day Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (last day September 9, 2021)

  2. Drop in to the Tiny Township office located at 130 Balm Beach Road to purchase your Beach Bundle. The offices are open at 9:00 a.m.

  3. Reserve in advance. Call the township office at 705-526-4204 ext. #3 to reserve a Beach Bundle for a specific day. Pay and pick up your purchase at the township office.

Ask to use the parking permit if you're renting a local cottage in Tiny

Be sure to ask the host to use the cottage’s parking permit during your stay. It will let you beach hop like a local.
