Farm Crawl 2021: celebrate the harvest on Georgian Bay

Writer: Kim RomansKim Romans

Farmer brings in greens harvested from the field behind him.
Meet local farmers and bring the bounty of their fields home to your table.

Come back to the land to celebrate local food and the farmers who produce it. Reserve your spot for the 2021 Farm Crawl happening Saturday, October 16, 2021.

Just a 90-minute drive north of Toronto, you’ll find this self-guided tour in Tiny Township. Pick and choose from eight farms. For example, tour a blueberry patch, stroll vegetable fields or learn how Windlee Farms turns sap into maple syrup. Stretch your legs, walk the land, talk to farmers and shop local.

The event includes a picnic lunch and swag bag. Visit tiny.ca/events for a list of participating farms and descriptions to plan your day. Let organizers know if you have any dietary preferences or restrictions when you complete your participant registration form. The cost is $50 per person. Space is limited. Book your spot.

Note: Before heading out to the farms, pick up your event participant wristband and swag bag at Perkinsfield Park (43 County Road 6 South, Tiny Ontario)
